Terms of Service
Last updated · May 23, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of Attevia ("Attevia", "we", or "us") — the research-pipeline and audit-signing platform reachable at attevia.vercel.app and any successor domain. By creating an account, calling our API, or embedding any output we produce, you ("Customer" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. What Attevia does
Attevia orchestrates third-party AI models (Anthropic, OpenAI, and others) to produce research memos, backtests, and cryptographically signed receipts. We are an infrastructure layer — we do not provide investment advice, brokerage services, or fiduciary recommendations. Every output is software, not advice.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and authorised to bind the organisation on whose behalf you sign up. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and API keys. If a key leaks, rotate it immediately at /app/keys — we are not liable for actions taken with a key that was leaked from your side.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use Attevia to make automated trading decisions on behalf of clients without disclosure and a human-in-the-loop.
- Do not present Attevia output as your firm's independent research without preserving the signed receipt that ties it back to us.
- Do not attempt to forge a signature, tamper with a receipt, or otherwise undermine the cryptographic guarantees that make this platform useful to other customers.
- Do not submit theses or documents that contain material non-public information you are not authorised to share.
4. Fees, refunds, taxes
Plans and pricing are listed at /pricing. Fees are charged in advance per month and are non-refundable except where required by law. Taxes (GST, VAT, sales tax) are your responsibility unless we collect them on your behalf and reflect them on the invoice.
5. Output ownership
You own the research memos, backtests, and signed receipts Attevia produces from your inputs. We retain the right to use anonymised, aggregated metadata (token counts, model selections, latency distributions) to operate and improve the platform. We do not train our own models on your data and do not opt your data into any third-party model provider's training program.
6. Cryptographic receipts
Signed receipts are append-only by design. Deleting a run or receipt removes it from your console but does not invalidate any signature you have already shared with a client. Public verify URLs continue to verify against the published key fingerprint for the lifetime of the platform.
7. Service availability
We target the uptime SLA listed in your plan. Status is visible at /status. We are not liable for downtime caused by upstream model providers, cloud infrastructure outages, or force majeure events, but we will credit your plan pro-rata for any sustained outage we cause.
8. Disclaimers
Attevia is software, not investment advice. Backtests reflect historical price behaviour and do not guarantee future returns. AI outputs may contain mistakes. The Customer is responsible for verifying every output before it reaches a regulated counterparty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
9. Limitation of liability
Our aggregate liability arising out of these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, and (b) USD 1,000. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits.
10. Termination
You may terminate at any time from /app/billing. We may suspend or terminate an account that materially breaches these Terms after notice and a cure period. Termination does not invalidate signed receipts that have already been shared.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced via email to the account owner and on /changelog.
